A typescript article by Gross submitted to the Publications Division of the Indiana Historical Society for possible publication in TRACES OF INDIANA AND MIDWESTERN HISTORY. It discusses the history of baseball at Indiana University, Bloomington, in the 19th century from its origins as a club sport to intercollegiate competition. Included are highlights of the team from the 1860s to 1899, and won-lost records for intercollegiate play from 1883 to 1899.
